陳飛豪的研究型創作源自長期對歷史、民俗、宗教與文學的研究。他透過文獻考證、田野調查、訪談與現地踏查，將研究成果轉化為藝術實踐。其作品並非將研究作為知識展示，而是藉由裝置、攝影、影像與表演重新建構歷史與文化敘事，特別關注傳統戲曲、祭儀展演及非主流劇場形式。透過不同媒介的交織，作品引導觀者重新思考地方、身分與集體記憶的多重意義。

Chen Fei-Hao’s research-based artworks emerge from long-term investigations into history, folklore, religion and literature. Through archival research, fieldwork, interviews, and site-specific observation, he transforms research into artistic practice. Rather than presenting research as documentary evidence, his works reconstruct historical and cultural narratives through installation, photography, moving images, and performance, with a particular focus on traditional theatre, ritual performance, and experimental theatrical practices beyond the mainstream stage. His works invite multiple interpretations of place, identity, and collective memory.
